About attorney fees
How is the attorney fee calculated?
For monetary claims, the fee is calculated on the amount accepted or rejected by the court, using the progressive (proportional) rates in the Third Section of the Minimum Attorney Fee Schedule. For non-monetary matters, a fixed fee applies according to the court type.
How much is the opposing-party attorney fee?
The fee awarded against the opposing party may not be less than, nor more than three times, the scheduled amount (Art. 3). This tool returns the statutory minimum; the court may set it between 1× and 3×.
How is the fee set in enforcement proceedings?
For enforcement (icra) proceedings up to ₺56,250 a fixed fee applies, which cannot exceed the principal claim. Above that, the proportional schedule applies. If the debtor pays within the statutory period, three quarters of the fee is awarded (Art. 11).
